Lisa M. Campbell
Lisa considers Tifton her hometown. She relocated to Tifton by way of Hartford, CT at the age of 10. Lisa graduated from Savannah State University with a BBA in marketing. She has lived in Statesboro for 6 years. She has been dancing since the age of 3 and teaching dance for the past 19 years. Lisa started a community dance group in Tifton, GA known throughout Southwest Georgia as the “Sugar Babies.” Under Lisa’s leadership the “Sugar Babies” won many local and statewide talent contests including second place performances at Albany’s Showtime at the Apollo. During Lisa’s professional travels she has always connected with a community organization or church and used choreography as a form of outreach for youth and young adults. In 2002 Anointed for Praise Dance Ministry began in the living room of Lisa and Rico Campbell with 5 students. In 2003 Pastor Gwendolyn Jones was kind enough to open the doors of Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center to accommodate the growth. The ministry has since grown into a cast of 24 praise dancers ranging from ages 5-31. Lisa’s motto in life is “leave the world better than you found it.” Lisa is married to Rico Campbell and the mother of 3 sons Eric, Isaiah and Marcus.
